Sago Pudding

Sago Pudding

INGREDIENTS

• 1 cup dates (deseeded)
• 250 ml skim milk
• 1 tsp ghee
• 4-5 almonds (into small bits)
• 3 tbsp sago/ Sabudana
• ½ tsp cardamom powder
• Top with fresh cut fruits

STEPS

1. Soak the sago. Take skim milk and dates.
2. Cook the mixture for 5-10 minutes.
3. Keep stirring the mixture regularly.
4. Cook the mixture till dates become soft.
5. Grind the mixture to make a paste.
6. Heat ghee in a pan and roast almonds till they become brown and add it to the cooked mixture.
7. Now add some milk to the paste along with sago.
8. Mix the mixture well and stir it till it thickens.
9. Cook for 10 minutes and serve it cool.
10. Top it with strawberries if needed.
